About the Project

This intervention in Marco de Canaveses consisted of the full rehabilitation of an existing single-family residence, with a particular focus on the renewal of interior spaces and the requalification of the exterior. The project started from a state of significant degradation, transforming the spaces through a contemporary language that dialogues with the pre-existing structure.

The granite stone was preserved and enhanced as an identity element of the construction, while new elements — dark brown aluminium frames, granite paving, and designer lighting — introduce a careful contemporaneity. The result is a home that respects the memory of the place while responding to the demands of contemporary living.
